Ao Nang
Are you in search of ideal vacations?
Ao Nang, Thailand.
Some viewer`s opinion: the most perfect paradise resort in Thailand - such friendly people and nice food! Everyone should go there before they die, but hopefully not at the same time.
Located in warm blue waters to the South of Thailand. Not far from Phuket, easy to reach from Bangkok.
A tropical paradise covered with coconut trees and brightly - colored flowers. Surrounded by white sandy beaches. Whether you want remote beaches, evening shopping, first class sea food( it offers super dining experience that combines great variety choice of cuisines with distinctive finest fresh seafood of local area) or exciting excursions, you will find them in Ao Nang.
In Thai Ao Nang means "Princess Bay". Now you can hardly believe that this tropical resort has not existed before 2000s. It used to be a small quiet fishermen`s settlement on the shore of Andaman sea just in 20 km of Krabi (the province capital). but in the cause of time Ao Nang has developed into a quite popular touristic resort that even a sophisticated traveller couldn`t but pay attention to.
When we say Ao Nang we do not mean only the very settlement but the whole territory beginning from Railay beach to Andaman Sea Bay with the Nopparat Thara Pierce as well. That is why this resort can be regarded as a full - stack place of activities and as a starting point to many nearby Islands. There is a large number of longtail boats which offer access to other beaches on the mainland and on islands. It is easy to orient in Ao Nang: almost everything is situated either along the beach, which runs west - east, or along the Airport Road (Highway 4203) which goes up north from the east end of the beach. There is a good range of cheap accommodation, many nice restaurants, easy transport and travel agencies ready to cater to your every whim, making it a good base for exploring Krabi. There are a lot of foreign long stayers here.
