Raylay
Railay is a peninsula (not an island) located in Krabi Province much closer to Ao Nang. It can be called Reiley, Raily or Railay. Railay is a common name for its two beaches: East Railay Beach and West Railay Beach.
This magnificent place attracts tourists from all over the world because of its unique nature, white sandy beaches that are included in the top most beautiful world beaches.
Railay surrounded by high cliffs is good for rock - climbing. In general people stay here one or two weeks in order to escape all that civilized reality because there is not so much of it here.
There are some good cafes, resorts of bungalow - type and plain nature of a tropical paradise. You can even meet monkeys swinging and jumping in the trees and looking for food and fun while walking to Phra Nang Beach.
In many ways Railay is almost a tourists place because if you are going to spend several months or more in Thailand it is better to find living in Ao Nang which is only 10 minutes by longtail boat and there are different kinds of accommodation to each taste and price.
