What to do on Tonsai
There are no attractions on Tonsai, the main activities are a wide range of rock - climbing and kayaking. There are several schools of rock - climbing offering climbing to beginners and professionals. The coaches will teach you how to deal with equipment and train the main skills of this sport.

The cost is 800 baht for the 1st lesson for beginners
9000 baht - for 5 days course. This company offers you climbing the rocks and jumping to the water from the cliffs.
If you have already acquired all the necessary skills and want to do climbing yourself, you can rent equipment at Tonsai shops. In addition you will be given the route guide. You can meet a lot of friends and like - minded people on Tonsai and share with them unforgettable moments of rock - climbing. Getting at the top of the cliffs you will be rewarded with a fascinating view for miles overlooking the beach and far out to the Sea with the Sun getting behind the wonderful rock formations.
Best time for climbing is during high season, at low season there are rains and most of routes are closed.
One more activity is kayaking. You can rent a kayak and travel to Railay West or Phrang Nga. If you are sure of your abilities, take a trip to nearby island Koh Poda. It is in 8 km from Tonsai.

Wat Bang Riang, Phang Nga Province

Tubkaek Beach
Located in 20 km to the North from Ao Nang, in 7 km from Khlong Muang. It is the farthest beach and the quietest one. The road leading to it ends right after the beach and the National Park begins. As the name Tubkaek is Thai, it spells differently in English:Tubkaek, Tup Kaek, Tubkaak. Even at the road signs you can see different spelling.
